structure and positioning of the bones, nerves, muscles, and arteries and veins
of the face and neck.

functions of the organs of the body.

and Hair - a microscopic study of their properties.

use and handling of barbering tools.

fundamentals and techniques.

Students must score 75% on written examinations and demonstrate proficiency in
the practical discipline being taught.

The pillars of
Your behavior should exemplify these
principles. The following list includes, but does
not limit
types of unacceptable behavior which could lead to suspension or dismissal
from
school.
1. Cheating
2. Stealing from a person or the school.
3. Threatening anyone.
4. Profane or abusive language toward staff students, or
patrons.
5. Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
6. Fighting with anyone.
7. Possession of a weapon.
In addition, you are governed by all criminal laws of the
Code of Virginia.
Business casual is the standard of dress. Mondays and
Fridays are dress-down days.
On these days. knee-length shorts are permitted. Socks or hosiery are to he
worn at
all
times(no flip-flops or sandals).Lab coats must be worn in the clinic area at
all times.
Students must have a high school diploma or GED and provide
proof of such prior to admission. Otherwise, you will be required to
demonstrate reading and comprehension skills.
Tuition includes textbook, exam review book, laboratory
coats, and all necessary barbering tools and implements. The cost is $5,500.00.
Tuition is payable and due
upon
enrollment. A monthly payment plan is available with down payment. Longer term
financing is available through TFC Credit Corporation. Refunds are prorated.
