| Hey gang. I stopped by a yard sale the other day and picked up a used Uniden Bearcat scanner for $30. After a trip to Radio Shack to purchase about $5 worth of parts, I opened it up and modified it so that I can decode alpha-pager signals and display them on my computer. |

| Once all the connections were made I sent a test page to my pager(watch) and checked to see if it appeared on the computer. It did! Wow, just like in the original HBO series The Wire that inspired me to do this project. |
